Riding boots and kit for riders who want both feet on the ground, on the bike they already ride.

Dean, our founder, is 5'5" and has spent more than thirty years in the saddle. Every stop was the same: the bike leans a little more than his leg can catch, and he goes up on one toe, holding his breath until the lights change.
Then one evening he wheeled his bike back out of a parking bay on a slight camber, couldn't catch it, and watched two passers-by lift 300 kilos off the tarmac for him. He didn't ride for five months.
It was never his skill or his age. Everybody told him to change the bike. Nobody offered to fix it under the foot. That's where Kaidric started.

Dean had tried the lot: a lowering kit and a garage bill north of £400, a cut-down seat, insoles, heeled boots off the internet. Each one fixed a little and took something away from the ride.
So we built the fix ourselves, stubborn about two things: it had to actually work, and it had to look and feel like proper riding kit, never a gimmick. The result is the Valdor: a riding boot with 3.5 inches built into a full-length sole, heel to toe. We call it StealthLift™. Both feet flat at the lights, the bike stays standard, and nobody can tell.
We tested it on riders in their fifties, sixties and seventies who told us exactly what was wrong. Some of it stung. All of it made the boot better.
After checkout, we ask every customer a few questions. Here's what the first ten UK riders who answered told us.
stand between 5'4" and 5'7"

park the bike up for winter and want to be ready for spring
worry: getting on, getting off and wheeling it round
"Confidence getting on and off my bike, knowing I'm not sliding from one side to the other waiting for my foot to reach the ground."

The boot was just the start. What we're building is the shop we always wished existed: made by riders, for riders. Kit that solves something you actually feel on the bike, not gear designed for a 25-year-old on a sports bike.
Boots, riding trousers, gloves, bags, helmet tech and the small stuff that makes a long day easier. Every piece has to earn its place the same way the first one did: tested on real riders, or it doesn't ship.
We're not here to sell you stuff. We're here to keep you on the road: the Sunday run you'd started skipping, the trip up to the Dales you kept putting off, the group ride where you hung at the back. Kit up and go. That's the whole point.
Built from the saddle out. We talk like the garage, not the shopping centre.
We only make kit that solves something you actually feel on the bike.
Real materials, honest construction, a 1-year warranty. Kit, not tricks.
Real numbers you can put a tape to. No hype, no miracle claims.

Adventure bike, tourer, roadster or cruiser. 5'4" or just tired of kit built for someone else. Men, women, thirty years in or one season down: if you ride, you're who we make this for.
We're not trying to make kit for everyone. We make it for riders who never wanted to stop.

The people who answer your email are the people who obsess over the kit. Try it on real rides. If it's not right, write to info@kaidric.com and we'll put it right.
