This Privacy Policy explains how KAIDRIC, operated by Serene Rituals Group LLC (the data controller), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit or buy from kaidric.com. We process your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
When you make a purchase, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number. When you browse our site, we automatically receive your IP address and details about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: with your consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
SMS: if you opt in, we use your phone number to send order notifications (including abandoned checkout reminders), marketing offers and transactional texts such as review requests. Your opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except with the messaging partners that operate our text messaging programme. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
We use your data to process and deliver your order and handle returns (performance of a contract), to meet our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation), to prevent fraud and improve our store (legitimate interests), and to send you marketing (consent). Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform. Your data is stored on secure servers. Payment data is processed in line with PCI-DSS standards.
Our service providers (payment, delivery, email and SMS) access your data only as far as needed to provide their service. Some of them, like our company, are located outside the UK, for example in the United States. When your data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations. When you leave our site through a link, this policy no longer applies.
We apply appropriate security measures. Sensitive data such as card details is encrypted (SSL). No system is infallible, but we follow industry standards.
